Dr William Talbot

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Shoulder, Knee & Trauma

Dr William Talbot is a specialty trained orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in adult and paediatric conditions of the shoulder and knee as well as an interest in trauma.

Dr Talbot has trained in leading orthopaedic trauma and specialty centres throughout Australia and and has a continued special interest in sports injuries and arthritic conditions.

Born and bred in Queensland, Dr Talbot completed his Bachelor of Science in 2002 at the University of Queensland. He continued with his studies and attained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006 and in 2015 he completed his training.

He furthered his training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association accredited Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Reconstruction in 2016 at Orthopaedic Research Institute of Queensland in Townsville.

Dr Talbot has a keen interest in education. He is currently a Senior Lecturer Griffith University Gold Coast, Associate Lecturer Bond University Gold Coast and previous Associate Lecturer James Cook University.

Consulting from Pindara Medical Specialist Centre as well as Broadbeach Family Practice, Dr Talbot is Visiting Medical Officer at Pindara Private Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital and John Flynn Private Hospital and provides surgical services at these hospitals. He is also Senior Medical Officer at Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital.

Dr Talbot welcomes referrals regarding all Shoulder and upper limb conditions, knee conditions and trauma.
